Hey guys,
Just a quick post on my series 1 910 wagon.
exterior:
She was a 1 owner stock as a rock wagong with 220,000klms on her. Now has 256,000klms, is 2 1/2 lower in the rear due to having the rear leafs reset, nearly the same again in the front courtasy of some r31 strut assemblies with low king springs.
With the strut upgrade obviously came brake upgrade to vented and sloted rotors off of a R31 instead of the standard solid (note how much better it brakes!)
16" multi spoke mag wheels
Interior:
7" fold out phillips dvd touch screen, under that custom made 3 gauge holder to fit in the old tape deck site with water temp, oil pressure and battery voltage gauges in saas.
6 1/2 split jvc speakers in the front and rear doors, custom fibreglass holders for rear door speakers.
This is what has been done so far.
Coming over the next few weeks:
Rust cut out of rain channels and small panel repairs followed by paint, factory blue with white solid pinstripe down centre. mag wheels sanded and plasti-dipped white new black moulded carpet throughout and windows tinted.
I have a pair of twin 40 side drapht carbs and ported side drapht manifold to go on at some point as well and exhaust
Will get pic up once the paint is done

so here are the pics as of yesterday. as you can see the rhf gaurd has been replaced as it has new paint it doesn't match the rest of the car. replaced the factory mirrors with chrome ones, re-did all the wipers chrome and the headlight surrounds and rear hatch handle. Re-did the front grille in white and repainted the window surrounds. also removed the paint off of the rear window surrounds so that the chrome is showing. also painted the rear drums and callipers blue and did the wheels in white. I want to thank all of my friends and family and business' that have made my 910 wagon come to life.
My workmate alf for his efforts on cutting the rust out of the rain channels and brazing them. My mate dan for all his efforts in helping with the wiring, basicly all of it, without him i would still be going.
Thanks to Cookies custom pipes and exhausts at wynnum for the great work on my exhaust, the guy is a genius, has done all my exhausts and never fails to exceed my expectations.
Thanks to all 1 mechanical at slacks creek for rebalancing my tailshaft, matt the owner was really helpful and really good work at a cheap price
Thanks to Autobarn Logan City for their help with basicly everything in and on the car. So the paint, gauges, stereo, alarm, central locking, and mirrors. everybody there knows their stuff and always gives the right advice.
Thanks to Nobull accessories at underwood for their help with the carpet, they had moulded carpet for the car, but no cargo one. They asked me to bring the car down so they could make up a template. within half an hr of me arriving, they had measured and cut a template and cut and trimmed the new carpet for me.
Thanks to O'brien shades in South Australia for the venetions, they look great, only place I know that still does them.
Last but not least my beautiful partner Em, without her being patient with my hrs on the car and constant talking about it and her support, this car would have never been where it is now, her input has been one of the most valuable
